What was the highlight of Christina Hotel Messongi
A perfect week of relaxation
This is a no frills hotel that could do with some modernisation. However, the staff are excellent and super helpful (Dimitri), the location is fantastic (on the beach) in the heart of Mesongi, which is a small and unspoilt resort. The breakfast is basic (be sure to ask for cooked eggs) but lunch and dinner are of a very high standard and Vasili makes an excellent slow cooked hot pot! I’d like to thank everyone there for their warmth and hospitality.

Honestly we loved the area and location of the hotelway.was just incredibly amazing.
Hotel 10 metres away from the sea... Just spectacoular Shops and laundry pretty close Owner really kind and always very educated with customers.
If the owner was great,rest of the employees made horribe impression with terrible customer service. Complaining in greek and never a smile. We were suppoused to have a room front sea instead they gave to the opposite without any advise of this.change. Biggest shame for the breakfast: a 4 stars cannot have such miserable breakfast... 1 type of cereal, 1 type of ham, powder coffe without even.a.coffe machine and opening time.for breakfast between 8 am till 9.45am... They say free biliard,but you actualy.need to buy something at.the bar to have free.biliard... They are.not.even.explaining properly how.it.works. Careful for extra payment for sunbed and umbrella..

If it wasn't the nice staff there, the whole stay could have been much worse
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is good because it is at the beach.
There are so many mosquitoes. You can't really open the balcony door at all in the evening. Sitting on the balcony in the evening was not an option because the whole room would be full of mosquitoes. My baby got stunk like 60 times in one night. The breakfast was not good at all. It was only toast bread, white bread, one kind of cheese, one kind of ham, one kind of cornflake, eggs and a plate of cake. It was the same every day. The so-called playground outside is so not maintained that our kids couldn't play there at all. The swings are all full of rust and broken. The slide is also dusty and rusty.
